The Jordan area in Hong Kong surrounds the Jordan MTR station on Kowloon Peninsula, between the Tsim Sha Tsui and Yau Ma Tei MTR stops. The area is roughly defined by Austin Road on the south, a few streets below Gascoigne Road on the north, and the Kowloon Cricket Club on the east. The area is densely populated with hotels, often a bit less expensive than those further south on the peninsula.
Temple Street
Temple Street's southern section is located in the Jordan area. It extends north into Yau Ma Tei, where the night market is located.
Kowloon Cricket Club
In operation since 1904, the club is the home of the Hong Kong Cricket Sixes. Kowloon Cricket Club is surrounded by the Gun Club Hill Barracks and the Kowloon Bowling Green Club.
King George V Memorial Park
On the western edge of the area, with Jordan Road on its north and Canton Road on its west, is King George Memorial Park. The park is a rare and welcome respite from busy Hong Kong, and has more trees than many of the other parks. A great place for an afternoon stroll to beat the heat.
