Cheung Kong Center
Return to Map/Area Description page
The third tallest building in Hong Kong after Central Plaza (Wanchai) and the Bank of China building next door. It's said that the architect, Cesar Pelli, normally known for his beautiful and unusual designs (Petronas Towers, Canary Wharf) purposefully made the building more "traditional" (read boxy) so not to steal any of the limelight from its dramatic neighbor -- the Bank of China.
