| The third tallest
building in Hong Kong after Central Plaza (Wanchai) and the Bank of China
building next door. It's said that the architect, Cesar Pelli, normally
known for his beautiful and unusual designs (Petronas Towers, Canary Wharf)
purposefully made the building more "traditional" (read boxy)
so not to steal any of the limelight from its dramatic neighbor -- the Bank
of China. |
